Cheap single monitor stand

Hi, I have a crappy old LCD TV which is going to waste because I used it as a second monitor for a while and lost the base/stand for it.

I have been looking for very simple monitor stands with vesa mounting so that I can easily set the TV up somewhere else as a TV again. They are all so expensive, I was really hoping to find a cheap one off of ebay but this was the cheapest I could find http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HP-LCD-MONITOR-STAND-FIT-FOR-17-1… and it is used. Delivery is a killer to perth though.

Is it possible to get a really cheap crappy one for less? I'd appreciate any help.

      I don't have a base to place on any books. That's what I'm looking for.

    If it has VESA mount on the back you'd probably be able to make one from hardware shop parts for less than $20.

    Some measurements and screw thread specs are available here, or if you wanted to spend more and get fancy you could try mount it on an IKEA Stolmen pole like this.
