You'd hope so. Flase advertising if they don't show up.

      • yes….the false fleece!

        Mythbusters Myth Busted

    • +5

Well it wont be the other 3 that were on the show, as they just got canned.

    • +7

And if they have specials for other cities will that be… 'Myth busted…..'

Unfortunately, far too common & unfounded Melbourne prejudice - in a Brisbane deal. (Didn't even need to check profile to guess location.) Or is that just jealousy?

They gave away FREE tickets to the Melbourne 2pm Saturday show! (No deal posted for Sydney.) What does that say about people from Melbourne? About the same as for Brisbane. It's just marketing.

Was showing American Ballet Company dancers around Brisbane yesterday. Their only Australian performance ever for an important company is Brisbane. With G20, Brisbane Festival, etc coming up, there's too much on, so (matinee) prices are discounted.

LERLENE, WHAT'S THIS HERE SCIENCE THINGMADOO?

      • -2

Well, hamwhisperer from Victoria, if you go to school and study, you might one day know the answer, or even better, know how to ask intelligent questions. That's science ;-)

        • -1

SORRY MATE, CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER YOUR NEIGHBOUR TRYING TO TUNE HIS UTE.

        • @hamwhisperer:
Well, what would you expect. He's just moved up from Victoria for the work.

Only the southern tradies renovating the houses around my area drive utes.

        • @hamwhisperer:
          Off to the beach :-)
Ah it's almost Spring! 20C, blue skies & warm sun at 8am. Enjoy your fog & rain, hamwhisperer - I'm sure you do ;-)

They have 3 shows in Brisbane, 3 in Melbourne and only 2 in Sydney. Now keep in mind Brisbane is roughly half the size of Melbourne and Sydney.

It is simply Supply and Demand. More shows means more supply. Smaller population means smaller demand.

I'd go if they did the exploding concrete truck.

Awesome deal frazel. I really wanted to go but was bummed it was over $100. I jumped on this as soon as I saw it. Cheers!

Went to this in Melbourne (matinee) and really enjoyed it, and I'm not an avid watcher of the show. Good fun and entertaining.

People who watch the TV show may not be aware of this news from a few days back. A bit of detail:

I went to the Melbourne matinee show and loved it! Definitely recommended, especially at this price.

Thank you so much for sharing, just saved $180 and made my 11yo very very happy!

I went to the first Melbourne show and thought it was absolute rubbish. No myths busted. No big explosions. Everything they did was all too easy and obvious and well rehearsed.

I can see the draw for a family. Kids will love it. But as a 28yo male with wife in tow… Not worth the $$$. A waste of time and money for us.

  • Saw this in Adelaide the other night. Paid the full price for the tickets (which was expensive!) but I had a real blast. Fantastic deal at this cost!

  • I saw this in Sydney, and paid full price, i had a great time. It is a really fun few hours

i saw this last night in perth paid $129. Was entertaining but not like the TV show.. They couldnt test a single myth. more of a science lesson with some light comedy.
Bargain at $49 and worth it for sure.

Perth Arena is a shit venue for this type of show Stage at the end looking over my right shoulder all night was terrible.

Ice hockey / Basketball perfect Arena. (i digress)

  • I just used this link to purchase tickets for $49 each. So deal seems to still be going if anyone is interested.

    • Enjoy the show. I'm envious.
