I've bought a washing machine from these folks and they hooked it up and leveled it. Now I have bought a dishwasher and they say $170 for dishwasher installation. I assumed that was for new plumbing.
I pulled the existing dishwasher out and this one will be slightly more involved than what I'm used to. Probably no great shakes if you do it all the time.
Has anyone bought a dishwasher from these folks recently and did they hook it up to existing plumbing free of charge.

I'm sure it's not that difficult. Its just I have so much other stuff going on at the moment, that if these guys don't hook it up,I'll call in a same day plumbing service. I have so many other trades coming through and I just can't have a dishwasher and due to power point position, my microwave, sitting around in the middle of the kitchen floor.
I've done this in the past, but not thus way and I do not have time to add to my.knowledge base.
I'm just sort of looking for a heads up.on what to expect because the service offered on the dishwasher is described differently from the service I received on the washer.

I wouldn't assume anything when it comes to installations/trades…call them & clarify exactly what level of service they are providing, you'll save yourself a lot of grief.
Thanks Stewie. Its been ordered and paid for. I am at the point in setting up house where I no longer give a crap how much something costs, just someone other than me do it. Preferably now. It was ordered yesterday (Tuesday) being delivered today (Wednesday). They call between 7 and 10am with a delivery time. There'd likely be no time to change installation option now anyway. I was just looking to see what others had received from them when ordering dishwashers, to prepare myself mentally as to whether I'd be getting yet another trade out. Because I really want it connected and running today. The last guys really overdelivered on my expectations. I'm hoping these guys will just pop it on and in and say bye bye. So to speak. :-)
old thread i know but what did the $170.00 cover in the end?
I'm look to replace my broken dishwasher with maybe something from appliances online.

It's really not that difficult, especially if you have thread tape (plumbers tape)
