I was at Kmart Carousel yesterday, and they had the following column oil heater on 'clearance'.
They also had those 'fire wood effect' ones for $75.
Pretty cheap if you are after a spare heater. Not sure if this is available in other Kmarts around the country.

Surely a good price is a good price, irrespective of the ambient temperature/wind direction/uv index/pollen count, etc.
no offence but I have to disagree. The usefulness of items which simply means the value for consumers surely depends on other factors.
You can normally only get cheap heaters towards the end of winter.
You can get this heater now at a cheap price or wait till the start of winter and pay a lot more.
Its similar with air conditioning for summer, I got mine a lot cheaper by not getting it in summer.
If something is a lot cheaper than it's normal price - which might include routine seasonal adjustments - and cheaper than any competition, then it has to be considered a bargain - even if it is of no use to anyone……
'Usefulness' by itself, is a very subjective factor. We vote on the price of the goods/service, not on whether we might find it personally useful.
@andy19363: Well put. One can't dictate the utility a product provides for all potential purchasers.
