I thought I might grab one for my niece, I popped into the local toy-r-us & the thing is huge, much bigger than her. I was afraid it might give her nightmares (Talking dolls always remind me of the child's play movies for some reason), postage will also be a problem. I read the box and for a kid 8+ it would be a great gift, I opted for a much smaller more toddler friends bratz doll.
