Will ALDI Prepaid SIM work in locked Telstra handset?

Please provide some idea which locked Telstra handsets will work with ALDI sims. Many thanks.

Short answer is Yes.
Aldi use Telstra network, so locked phones usually work just fine.
Mine do, but cannot guarantee that every phone will.

In my experience no, I bought a telstra prepaid handset for my girlfriend and tried the ALDI SIM and the handset was SIM locked. Found an online provider for SIM unlocking for like $10-15. Worked after that.

This did not work for my girls Iphone 4s (off contract for a year) still had to call Telstra and get it unlocked

I rang Telstra mid contract to get my 4S unlocked to be able to put a travel sim in, it wasn't a problem, they unlocked it free

I wouldn't think Telstra would deny unlocking your phone if you are using ALDI mobile as they will somehow be getting some of your money anyway?
