hey guys just purchased a ps4 and im wanting a tv to go with it that'll provide decent HD and also have alright sound. Something 50+" would be good, if its a little smaller but better quality thats okay. cheers!

Panasonic is alright and cheaper than sony , but for 500$ you can get up to 40-42" at most.
Not a fan of Kogan but since you're on a budget

So… you bought the latest console with the best graphics, then want to spend less than that amount on a TV to use it with?
The best for gaming are Sony's W700-W850 series, though you're looking at 2.5x that price.
Even for a decent Hisense, it's a lot more - you won't get anything with 100Hz for less than $600ish in 40 inch, let alone 50.
Either save more and get something good for gaming, or buy a 50Hz Soniq from JB (or equivalent).
