Backpacks are usually not cheaper from overseas due to high delivery costs but this one is an exception. A fair bit less than Australian retailers and a full size quality backpack for hiking and travel.

Note that if you never go on multi day hikes, a travel backpack might suit you better, these are optimized for carrying all day and to minimize weight.

To get this price, add a zero foreign transaction fee (28 Degrees, Citibank Plus etc.) credit/debit card and set its currency to pounds (GBP).

That backpack weighs 2.8kg. Not for the UL folks.

  • If you don't need a tent and sleeping bag get a 20L backpack, pack light, and your whole trip will be more enjoyable.

I don't think the kind of trips this is designed for would be very enjoyable with no tent and bag :)

  • If you wanna go lite, especially long multi-day hikes, there are other options in the market.
Golite, gossamer, granite, just to name few

Personal opinion: One issue I find with ultralight backpacks is the shoulder and waist padding isn't as firm compared to the more trekking oriented backpacks. I have a Tatonka Kimberley and while it's heavy (compared to the ultralight ones), I'm very pleased with the padding as well as the frame system.

Thanks OP, I might consider getting this. I need a new backpack. :)

    • Yup, when I said minimize weight I meant compared to travel packs with wheels and stuff. Need the frame padding harness etc. when you're going to have it on your back 8-10 hours a day for a week or more.

      Mine just shipped :)
