Hey all,
My HTC One M7 backlight stopped working but the phone and touch screen still functions. Going to take it to a phone repairer to get some quotes but just want to know if anyone knows what's involved to have this fixed so I don't get ripped off or worthwhile fixing. It's still a great high end phone and if I can avoid buying a new phone.

Good suggestion. I did take it back to Telstra but the guy said there will be a charge to investigate the issue if it is not covered under warranty.
serious? im with vodafone and they just replace it on the spot, no charge…
didnt know telstra had such bad warranty

htc one is a really hard phone to repair.. basically impossible to take apart without leaving marks
still under warranty? some mobile phone come with 2yrs.
