Hi nuno, regardless digital or physical you will still need to install it through steam, uplay or some sort of online verification system the first time. Note that steam offline mode can be tempramental. Since the steam ed opens up lay I wonder if it is even possible to play offline. Maybe you should ask on the rocksmith steam forums.

It's a steam key, so u wont be able to use a 2nd hand key. The cable will work fine though. Maybe looking for eb games/jb hifi for a used game + cable (its the same cable for xbox/pc for either version of the game(think ps3 as well).

I bought a second one at JB hifi years ago, unsure if they still stock em.
i have a sealed copy for pc with cable im looking to offload, was hoping for 40 but pretty negotiable. Im in melbourne pm if youre interested
u have to install it into steam to play it anyway, or uplay at the very least.
