Yes
No, not naturally.
You won't be able to close it, because it's too wide. As you can see in the image, a Note 3 is much wider than that phone(taller when put horizontally). So yeh you can't close it with the velcro.
Also the volume buttons get hit if you apply downwards pressure.
But it's still usuable, you just have to hold it in place yourself, rather than the velcro.
I know, because I've tried it :)
Can you use this while driving?
Yes. But definitely not adviced unless you have phone 100x More expensive than the cardboard box.
How low can they go? Sucks to be the one paying $25 from DODOcase 2 months ago. Also
No more craps, we just want to hear TWO WORDS!
Which two words? More craps?
My dodocase one arrived yesterday, good fun :) nice and clear printed instructions, tolerances all good & the velcro mod is extremely helpful. Pretty happy with the price I paid still!
I get my cardboard for free from the bins behind the checkouts at Bunnings
I polished my lenses out of the bases of scavenged coke bottles
My Nokia 1100 fits perfectly
does this one contain the NFC tag? i dont see it in the description, but might just be a mistake.
no NFC
package contains…
3 x Cardboard
.2 x Magnets
.2 x Lens
.2 x 3M Tape
.1 x Rubber Band
USD 7 with NFC tag http://www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-DIY-Google-Cardboard-Virt…
USD 6 each (5pc lot) http://www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-DIY-Google-Cardboard-Virt…
Is the NFC tag version for use with phone that don't have NFC?
If your phone doesnt have NFC, you can still use the NFC version, but there's no point as it will do nothing at all.
imo, no tag is better, since it's annoying when you want to use other VR apps.
Yes, it contains the NFC tag. :)
How can you tell if your phone is suitable for this?
READ THE LINK!
Here is a list of the phones we've tested that are compatible with Cardboard.
Fully compatible
Google Nexus 4 and 5
Motorola Moto X
Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Partially compatible
Magnetic input not working
HTC One
Motorola Moto G
Magnetic input not working & headtracking/rendering issues
Samsung Galaxy S3
The deal says it works with iphone.
Take that with a grain of salt I guess. The Google Cardboard initiative stems from using the "Cardboard" android app and other VR related things popping up. So wisc's list is correct and is from the official site.
There are reports that iOS has similar apps available on the market, but I don't know too much about headtracking/magnetic input compatibility.
Almost too cheap..
I wonder if anyone's yet found a rain-resistant, long-term one with proper, glass optics - ?

Not bad….. I need it! :)
Closer to $50 than $45 though.

How long does the novelty factor last with these?
There's not heaps out there for VR. So, imo I wouldn't invest that much yet, as in this $50 thing. But for cardboard, it's worth a try. But it is eye straining for me atleast, so that also limits the time in use.
Works well with the LG g2.
Love the rollercoaster Sims!
Hi alukado, i don't know if you can help me with this but i put in an order in February that was stopped in customs and sent back, i have put in for a refund 3 times and have had no luck, can you possibly help me?
What's the order number? Please Pm me,I'll check to see what the problem is.
i would avoid if you don't have the LG G3. on my galaxy S5 things still look pixelated.
