What's the Nexflix bargain???
First month free, ~$9/mth (cheaper than this, and more content).
Cheaper than free?
@Venom_TAG: Yeah, weird, who cares which freebie is better. You get them both.
It's like 'look a free hotdog', well that's not a deal cause the free hamburger down the street is better.
@Venom_TAG: Netflix has a month trial also I believe making netflix better
@sprof:
And what can you do once that free month ends? Get another free month with this. Why is there a comparison? you're not giving up one for the other.
Netflix is better, but this is free!
So is Netflix but has considerably more content in better quality, thus better than this deal.

Two free months is better than one.
Netflix also offers a month free for new subs.
Much better movie service and content than the crappy Foxtel offering.
Also not rubbish SD either (and also 5.1 sound).
If it was unmetered for Telstra customers that would make it a little more compelling. How big is their collection compared to Netflix (excluding TV obviously), anyone know the details?
Don't even ask that question. Even when Netflix gets to Australia, it won't have nearly as much content as Netflix (US) has.
Just curious is all. Presto isn't great but it's a small step in the right direction. I won't be signing up anytime soon though, Netflix has me covered already.
Yeah I don't know the actual numbers (I couldn't find anything concrete about Presto) but it's clear when you search for content that it is a half arsed approach. I do agree that it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully Netflix can secure a decent amount of content in Australia when they launch, which I doubt they will be able to.
Because, Foxtel.
Thats why you get a proxy/DNS mask/VPN and enjoy the entire world's offering of Netflix catalogues :) I just got done watching about a dozen movies on the UK Netflix that weren't available on the US one, and the and the Swedish one is up next :P
Do you have to get Netflix subs in all those countries or would the US account work in the UK, Sweden, etc.?
US account works for all regions
I just got done laughing at your grammar
Thanks
Netflix is a better bargain. :)
