how about an ex demo Macbook Pro Retina 15" Core i7 2.0Ghz, 256 SSD with Iris Pro graphic (mid 2013) model for 1600? sorry for irrelavant to the topic but been thinking in between this Toshiba and the Macbook Pro Retina

IMHO, this isn't as great a deal as it seems. I'm sure you'll find laptops with similar specs for less than $1200. Try Amazon or LogicalBlueOne. As for the MBP, $1600 is a lot of money. With that, you could probably get a Windows machine with one of the newer GTX cards with 2GB or more VRAM. I'll say this now and again and again again - all Apple products are overpriced.
basically still has 2 years warranty entitled, just after a reliable + nice display + long battery life hence been thinking about this. thanks for your response albert0pla
I brought this one couple of months before. It has good graphic and RAM is expandable to 32GB. But I bought it from MYER's for $1360, still great deal if you compare same specs with HP Envy 17.

Sure $1400 is cheaper than than $1800 other shops are selling em for, but i don't necessarily think it's great value for a 17" laptop compared to others in same price range.
