This seems like a pretty good deal for an i5. Only 4gb of RAM.

Sorry not cheap at all for a old gen i5 laptop.
You can find the same laptop for the same price at MSY.
http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/notebook.pdfHaving said that there are way better laptop if you look at the MSY list. Same laptop with 250GB storage less for $59 cheaper. Or go for the Aspire V5 with 4th gen processor for $10 less.
I would not recommend acer laptop either as the build quality is mediocre.

It feel really sturdyThe downside is that it is a refurbish but i got one that is similar and it feel brand new.
Been using it for 3 month without a single problem. Most asus certify refurbished are of really good quality.Another bummer is that the battery is not removable but the battery itself is really good. Last me a good 3.5-4 hours of heavy usage (much better than the normal 2-2.5 hours of most other laptop including the acer in this deal).
This really feel like a premium laptop less the price tag.

Is the touch screen annoying?
Not at all, it is very helpful when you dont want to use the touchpad.
Appears to be the cheapest around at the moment, but really this is a standard price for those specs. It's been cheaper in the past as well.
