Want to buy new cheap(est) mobile phone

Hi, looking to buy a spare phone, doesn't need to be a smart phone, just needs to be cheap and unlocked (or cheap to unlock). Was going to buy the Telstra roamer for $12 but it's gone now :( what other cheap, basic, under $20 phones are out there?

Note: According to an Ozbargainer in the past the phone isn't well built, it may be worth paying an extra $10 dollars or so and getting yourself a Nokia.

    • They'll be kicking around on eBay for a while (and, no doubt, even in ancient form on Aliexpress for much longer!), but if the OP decides to buy a Nokia phone - from a bricks&mortar store - he should probably get a move on…

      • Nokia plans to release one more Nokia dumbphone later this year. And it's not as if dumbphones need firmware updates and support anyway, it makes not much of a difference whether or not they still produce the device.

Dumbphones will continue to exist for a while, mainly because of their long battery life you won't be caught with your pants down with a flat battery.

        • I may have conveyed an impression of urgency somewhat out-of-proportion to what was a somewhat tongue-in-cheek comment…

Having said that, the Nokia feature-phone that you link, which has no doubt been in-stream for a while, will almost certainly be their/Microsoft's last, although you're right about dumbphones not being dead.
I can remember reading somewhere recently that Panasonic was planning to release a number of new phones in India and/or some other emerging markets. Exciting times.
