website extremely slow and getting 404 when checking out

    • Use the checkout button at the top right of the page instead of the one in the dropdown view of your cart.

      Just finished my order

      • Just finished my order.

Took a few tries with errors but it helped using the checkout button in the dropdown view of the cart to continue on to the next steps

  • Is this a good brand? Never heard.. not like YD, tarocash, etc right? They are not good

    • +4

YD, Tarocash and Connor are all owned by the same parent company (Retail Apparel Group). Just different age targets.

So same thin shirts. $20 is not a bad price for them, not worth their full price when new released imo.

    • Is this a good brand?

      No.

      • +2

Tell me where I can find 100% cotton shirts that have good consistent sizing, a good website, good return policies, in a good modern and generally funky colour range, for $20-$30 dollars. I love all three of these brands. YD, Connor and Tarocash all seem to be the same quality to me. At the right price, I don't think anyone comes close. They are my Go-To stores for modern VFM menswear. No, I don't work for them!

  • Does anyone have experience with the quality of this label?

    • +2

They are OK but not great… Can be a pain to iron.

Also they tend to be quite slim fits so more casual than business.

      Good for $15 though :)

    • +2

Tarocash is more premium, YD is average and Connor is like the no-frills. Quality is not great but way over priced for full retail. I have bought a shirt and pants on sale, not great after a couple of washes.

      • +10

Tarocash is far from premium. Very, very far.

        • +1

I would have thought YD to be the more premium of the three. Their prices are certainly premium.

        • @muzzamo:

Tarocash is definitely premium, I can still wear my formal pants from 5 years back to my placements, work, formal ocasions :p they cost 100$ but worth every penny. Then again other may have different experiences.

Hmm ok maybe will visit the store and try before buying online.jackets looks good in photos

  • +1

they seem to have a good refund policy,
but they mention something about not able to refund if using paypal???

  • In-store too. Was in Habour Town 3 days ago and saw this sale

    • Hmmm the e-mail stated DFO stores only. Seems some retail stores have this offer too. Updated listing.

  • Website seems broken, when I click 'add to cart' it just sits there saying 'loading' and doesn't progress.

(OK got it to work by clicking things.. :) )

  • Birkenhead Point, NSW has these sales too.

  • +1

Jackets at that price are not bad. Got one for next winter… Thanks OP.

  • Crew tees at those prices, why not? 100% cotton.

I'll buy a few to try if I can find a Large.

  • Wonder if DFO still has the hoodies / kneatwears in stock?

    • yes one rack of hoodies $14
loads of knits in all sizes and colors
      homebush dfo

  • Hmmm according to their sizing chart, I take 2 sizes less than the normal Aussie retail store. So basically the same sizes as I take in the USA.

So I take it their sizes are USA based then? - i.e. XL on connor = 3XL in most Australian stores?

    • +1

Reviews seem to say they size small and then almost everything is either slim or skinny, I don't think I'd trust their size charts!

  • +2

Shirts are pretty tight fitting. Not for those who have moobs at is visible.

Thanks op. Got carried away and spent $250. I wished someone had mentioned the 5.5% cashback. I missed it.

    • all most miss the cash back. Thanks mate

You know, I keep missing this lol! Le sigh!

  • got the following error:

    ERROR
Transaction (Process ID xxx) was deadlocked on lock | communication buffer resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

on checkout - but tried it again and it worked fine the second time.

    thanks for the post!

  • keep on I guess to many OZ bargainers are jumping onto it.

  • Thanks mate :-)

  • Hey guys how would the "regular" shirts fit a larger relaxed muscle kind of guy? :-)

    • Go a size up, they are designed for slim etc. if you have a store near you go in and try some on. Otherwise order more than one size and return the rest.

They have collect returns I think its only like $6, their return policy is pretty decent.

Hey everybody, I signed up to their email list instore and i just received a 20% voucher.
Not sure if it is specific to me. But if it does work, then its a discount(20%) on top of the sale(30%) plus the cashrewards cashback(5.5%) as per gsrt22.
    Here's the code - ORHYOKENUS
I've used it already, but pls post if it doesnt work!
Email states voucher is valid until 01/09/2014.

      • +1

hi mods: pls add code to the OP post for extra discount!!!

@Frutter: Dw, I'm pissed off as well. Bought 3 shirts last week instore. Could have saved another $8 at least!!! Oh wells, at least i know what size to buy :)

    • Hi Guys,
I tried lastnight with this code and getting error. I put it for click and collect and was paying with paypal.

      • dont pay with paypal. Pay with your credit card just in case it doesnt fit.

  • It is a good deal so + from me but I'm sure glad I visited the store, the clothes are not remotely as nice as on the website. Couldn't find something I wanted to purchase.

    • Agreed. It's hit and miss. Hard to judge from pictures sometimes.
Note: physical stores don't stock all of the clothes. One of the sales staff hadn't seen a few shirts from the online store.

  • It says you need to pay 6.5$ to return the item by post. anyone know if is there charges to refund some of the items purchased online, in store?

  • +1

Personally this is one of the best clothing sales I've ever seen!
Cheapest shirts bar going to Asian countries! Huge range on massive discount. Free shipping and if not right you can refund at a store.

This brand seriously deserves a lot of business!!

  • Hi all.

ORHYOKENUS applied the discount last night, but I couldn't checkout.
Trying again now, ORHYOKENUS doesn't work anymore :(

Any1 happen to have another code to use with this deal? :)

    Cheers!
