don't see much of a logic with this. when you want to buy a recharge, its basically because you already have a service. Maybe good for tourists ?

  It's meant for new customers. The $2 sim doesn't come with any credit. So it's not really a recharge, more of the initial-charge. It makes sense, no point taking home a sim with no credit.

I recommend anyone get this just for the cheapo telstra movie ticket and free movie download thursdays! (thats what i did a while ago .. never touched the sim!)

EDIT: Sorry didn't realised it was bundled with a recharge!!
