Just notice and email from a couple of days ago. Good chance it's targeted seeing as no one else seems to have posted it, but I'd keep your eyes out for it. At 4.5 points per dollar spent, and with Citibank rewards being cheaper than the others I have seen, I'd imagine this is about the best reward scheme on the market at the moment.

I'm moving a couple of large purchases I had been planning forward to make the most of this deal.

Text from the email:

Spend on your Citibank Rewards Credit Card - Signature ending in xxxx between 15 August and 31 August 2014 and we'll triple your reward points*. This is available up to a total of 20,000 points earned, after which your regular points earn rate will apply. Excludes International and Bonus Partner transactions.

*Promotion applies to retail purchases, excluding all International transactions, bonus partners, cash advances, refunds, balance transfers and special promotions. In most instances bonus points will be added to account at the time of purchasing, but it may take up to 10 weeks after the promotion. This promotion is valid between 15 August 2014 and 31 August 2014.

    I actually started using it a bit more recently. I have an ANZ Rewards Platinum card as well, so generally use the AMEX on that, but have started using the Citibank Visa instead of the visa on the ANZ account. Same amount of points but the Citibank rewards are cheaper. I only noticed this a few weeks ago, so within the last month have been using it a fair bit more. I had only used it for a balance transfer before that and one purchase to use one of the Priority Pass lounges.

  Nice! I've just signed up to this. Looking forward to getting the card and getting a triple point bonus sometime.
