  • Carn't comment on net flicks but 3d is personal taste, I have a old sammy 3d passive and a hisense active 3d, for my eyeballs the active leaves the passive for dead, don't buy before you have had a look at at few and compared

  • are these active or passive 3d? whats the diff?

  • +1

ermmmm easier for you to read this http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1457759 , it also would depend on if your a gamer aswell ( I'm not)

  • im leaning towards the DSE ebay 55" samsung. has anyone found it cheaper? (#2 on the list for $1323)

  • I have a Sony 55 3d passive 4k tv (last year's model - this year they switched to active)… the 3d is awesome.. i was playing tintin 3d on ps3 with it together with me kid, and went for hours without tiring my eyes and without needing to charge, zero flicker.. at the end of the day its just preference, I've tried active 3d at friend's place and it tires my eyes out, but its probably just me.

Also, if you can get Sony models with tri-luminous, its much more purdy.. from your link above, can't really tell if that model has it and its active 3d
