Code works if the item is added to your Home Delivery cart and not your Click and Collect cart. The only time it worked for me (2 minutes ago) was when Home Delivery was the only option listed on the product page and the green button said only 'Buy Now'.
Doesn't seem to give you the discount if you log in
If it's out of stock online the only way to add it to your cart is by using click and collect. If you enter the promo code in the cart page the $15 discount will show up on the delivery side but useless as this option is greyed out. Reload the page every now and then and eventually the delivery option will become available.

Not in a hurry to get it but it would be pretty poor of them to continue taking orders only to cancel them knowing full well they can't fulfil them.
History shows that it's the sort of thing that they do. Look at the Pioneer SEMJ511W and Pioneer SEMJ711 headphone debacle as an example.

Nope more like the system is over selling. I've found every single sale that Dick Smith has over sells. I've found with Dick Smith online just because you successfully order it doesn't mean that you'll actually get it. There's been multiple times when Dick Smith takes orders only to cancel them and refund because of insufficient stock to fulfill the order.

Can someone please let me know if I login to Chromecast Play store with the same google id that I am logged in with on Android device (not supported on Chromecast) and buy/rent a movie on mobile using Telstra Prepaid Main balance, would I be able to watch that movie from Chromecast Movies app?

Yes, just beware that getting the sound from the projector to external speakers could be problematic (if you need it).
Soon an update will/should be released that will let you do that without going through an existing WiFi network (may have already?).

sorry, never use chromecast before and it would be handy for church purposes.Haven't found a way to get any sound out of the computer when casting a video to the Chromecast. If you PM me it might remind me to try it tomorrow if you'd like.

So If I have a very good Smart TV do I still need the chromecast? I can just use the TV's youtube app, or the TV's inbuilt wireless streaming right? Is the only difference with the chromecast the convenience of syncing with your desktop/phone chrome?
It depends what you want and what your smart tv can do. Chromecast does a lot more than just youtube. I use mine mainly for netflix/hulu/plex/google play music/mirroring. Oh yeah and then recently I discovered popcorn time. :D
Mind if I ask how you use those services? I know Popcorn Time is free, but are the others free? Is there any otherwise paid services provided with the device? What's the VPN set up you have for Netflix?
Thanks in advance. (I'm too lazy to research this myself)I use getflix to access netflix/hulu, and yeah they are all paid services. There's other things you can stream without paying such as tv portal and xbmc. The only problem with chromecast, you have to change router settings to get those services to work, but its easy enough to do.

World's best YouTube tech reviewer talking about the Chromecast. Recommend watching it to anyone who doesn't understand what a Chromecast is or how it works.
*keep in mind this review is over a year old so some features have improved and functionality added, still a great video. Eg. Full screen mirroring is now possible and works well on both computers and android devices.
