  • Whilst i can't vouch for their wet applied skins, i might give their "carbon fiber" back protector and their tempered glass ago for $9.75 delivered.

    Thanks OP!

EDIT - Crap, need to pay shipping…

  • When i see the prices there, they should offer 99% off.
    Example:

6 Foot Micro USB 2.0 Data Charging Cable
    Price: $17.99

For that money you get ten of them on eBay

    • Ten of questionable quality…

      • What makes you think the ones they sell are any better? No brand and no specifications at all provided.

        • What makes you think they're not?

The fact that they charge so much for it means people's expectations will be high. If it develops a fault or can't fast-charge a phone, people will complain about it. So it would be in their best interests to make sure they supply a good cable.

Of course it would be silly to pay full price for it (that's like buying a usb cable from Harvey Norman!), but if you're ordering something anyway with these 80+% discounts, it's a cheap add-on.

With an ebay cheapie the sellers know if the cables fail you're less likely to kick up a huge stink over a $1.50 cable, so they can supply you any quality they feel like. Just read through the Tikbro posts where people are experiencing heads that get loose after a few months.

        • @eug: DO NOT buy the usb cables. They are nothing but landfil. VERY slow charging…can't even fully charge my phone overnight using a reliable wall charger.

        • @Bugs: Did you tell them about it? Does it look like the one in the photo?

        • @eug: There was only one available at the time and it looks like the same one. The cable itself doesn't feel like quality. I needed some cables so I bought 4. I tried multiple and same results every time.

I don't see any point telling the company about it. They have regular 85% sales, so that is the real price. They must know what they are selling.

I have tempered glass on moto g, touch sensitivity not hindered at all it seems, and their dry application screen protectors have been sweet. Not a rep, just had good experience with them. Takes about 10-14 days to get here.

    • I've had terrible experience with their wet applied skins… the front was just terrible to touch and i removed it within days, and the back is just as bad… but i left it on because i didn't want my case to make scratches against the read panel (that happened to me before).

Guess i'll give them another shot with the tempered glass and the carbon fiber back protector.

      • yeah, i hated the wet application one

  • This is their rear skin on a HTC One M8: http://i.imgur.com/q8bYVyZ.jpg

  • Bought a few of their wet type screen protectors in their 90% off sales a few weeks back. Installation is tricky, not all trapped bubbles could be removed. Surface feels spongy and not smooth. Cannot write with S-pen properly.

    • I don't think any wet-install screen protectors would be suitable for s-pens. They're all rubbery.

      • Yeah, if you want wet apply protectors, get them from Skinomi, they feel MUCH better. I have them on my N7 2013 and it feels like a normal screen protector with the difference that it was easier to apply then the dry apply ones.

      • Yes, they shouldn't be selling a product that doesn't work. I'm considering taking them up on their warranty.

Carbon fibre back protector is actually a sticker…

    • Well, i'm hoping that it will at least have a texture to them like the skinomi "brushsed metal" back protector.

      • It has a bit of texture but I have no idea how it compares

      • There is texture but it's a sticker hence a pain to apply. The picture gives impression that it's a back piece. ..

        • I suggest purchasing one from SlickWraps or Dbrand, although it's much more expensive. But sometimes they have discounts.

  • Do not read the terms and conditions they might terrify some people.
