I have $2k burning a hole in my pocket and want to invest it on the best TV I can find. I'd prefer 60"+ and am leaning toward the Sony W850B at the moment (~$1,600-$1,950). What is best bang for buck. I don't need smart features or 3D. I just want something big with excellent contrast and amazing blacks. Also needs to be available for delivery to remote WA.
EDIT: I need little or no input lag also.
Thanks for the response mooney. That set reviews well except for the input lag. As it is going to be hooked up to an XBox and a PC I need to make sure there is little to no input lag. Also it was near on impossible to find someone selling that model (or even Plasma in general).
Sorry man. It's great hooked up to computer for streaming tv but I'm no gamer anymore. Based upon your needs it's probably not the best option.
Don't know about best but I recently purchased this Panasonic plasma and am very very happy with it. If its picture quality and blacks you're after plasma is still the way to go, its just gonna cost more to run.
