    "Purchase unlimited vouchers
    Limit 1 per customer"

    How does that work??

    • good question, buy as many vouchers as you like to share with friends

"valid" one 30day period voucher redeemable per customer.

poor choice of wording by editorial team

      thank you

  • any idea how much is the 24/7 access card?

    • Access cards prices differ location to location but 6 of the Sydney branches offer a bonus $9 discount for participating in this offer.

      • +1

I would be interested in Kensington, thank you

        • perfect then, Kensington happens to be one of the branches who offer the additional discount for you :)

  • I dont think Castle hill is included in the promotion

    • thank you for the pickup Awesomegirl

Castle Hill is definitely included in this but it was a late addition to the mix

will amend the fine print section for the promotion

      EDIT:

Please note the only locations who have not participated in this promotion for Sydney/NSW are:
      Bathurst
      Tuggerah
      Gosford
      Maroubra
      Seven Hills
      Wollongong
      Canberra

They are only sticking to the SNAP Fitness website promotion where you actually have to pay Joining Fee first before you get 30days free

I don't have driver license. What else can I use to identify and Sydney cbd has additional access card? Thank you.

    • Hey there! Anything that resembles photo ID would help the clubs identify yourself would work, we only suggested Drivers License

      thank you

  • Can I mix and match places, i.e. put the voucher on my phone, go to the City branch on Monday, show them voucher, use gym, then go to the Kensington branch on Wednesday, show the same voucher - up to the end of the month?

    • Their membership allows you to access all their gyms, normally…

    • Hey there! The membership is for access to all gyms, they will just log your name etc on the systems as a person who has come from LivingSocial and has 30days access

this is why fine print stipulates Drivers License (photo iD) is required for identification purposes

      thank you

  • hmm looking at sydney opening hour for weekdays, its hard for people who want to go after work since you get only 1-1.5 hour? also open 10am? what the…..
    SUNDAY 9AM - 3PM
    MONDAY 10AM - 7PM
    TUESDAY 10AM - 7PM
    WEDNESDAY 10AM - 7PM
    THURSDAY 10AM - 7PM
    FRIDAY 9AM - 7PM
    SATURDAY 9AM - 3PM

      They're open 24/7
What you listed is the hours it is "staffed"

If you want is staffed for extended hours, tell the Manager to Get Staffed

      • yes but i think the deal is to come during staffed hours, and if you want to get in outside you need to buy that upgraded card thingy - so yeah they are smart.

        • which they seem to refuse to say how much it cost

        • +1

          @Amores:

Have you contacted the specific Kensington branch you were after to see how much it was?

Each branch differs in price so this wasn't specified in the LivingSocial campaign but the 6 eastern suburbs are providing the bonus $9 discount

you can reach the Kensington branch to enquire directly at:

          0431 492 180

Also to clear up any confusion, this deal is for ENTRY access during staffed hours, it doesn't mean you are required to vacate the gym during unstaffed hours afterwards :)

          hope that clarifies

          @Ninjabredman:

AH THAT IS MUCH BETTER! i bought

  • Will this include the Dubbo one when it finally opens?

    • At this point we only managed to secure the 14 locations since there are several franchise managers involved and it was a collective effort to agree for this promotion.

Dubbo will most likely have their own promotions when they open :)

  • +1

I hate how you have to give your email to view the deal.

Your bounce rates must be extremely high

    • This promotion is from LivingSocial who is a provider of exclusive members access only offers and promotions of 50-90% discounts, hence an email is requested to view these special offers

Comparable to Ozbargain how you need an email to gain exclusive members access to post comments and leave a like / dislike

      thank you :)

    NO DEAL

The main site http://www.snapfitness.com.au/ is offering first 30days for free not $9 for free

    Your Welcome

    • +2

yes its already stated. you need to join first and (not sure) maybe you need to sign for xx months contract?
this is $9 to try one month no string attached after

      • +2

not to mention you probably have to pay a joining fee of about gazillion dollars.

      • +1

Thank you erwinsie, that is correct

There has been a strong confusion on this promotion.

SNAP Fitness offers 30 days free IF YOU JOIN (joining fees are charged, $99)

LivingSocial offers 30 days obligation free, then no joining fee if you join, then PT starter pack as well.

The only thing you would need to pay (should you wish) is 24hr access card upgrade

      Your Welcome

      You're welcome.

  • +1

hey guys, till tomorow 15% off living social if you buy through http://www.cashrewards.com.au/ and then also receive 12% cash back! this deal become $7.65 each before cash back

  • last question. that expiry date 19 october in my voucher, does it mean i need to finish 30 days by that date, or i can still start at say 10 october and finish 9 november?

    • that expiry date is the validity of this voucher

you are required to redeem Day 1 of your 30 days by the 19th of october

treat this like a Prepaid phone credit, you bought the recharge, you need to use the recharge within xxx days before it expires, then when you use it, you get the credit for yyy days/months afterwards.

so if you redeem on the 19th of October, you have 30days access until the 18th/19th of November.

      thank you for the support

      • no worries
but again yes wording can be confusing.
because stated you need to show your voucher everytime, so when the voucher says expire at xxx some people assume they need to finish the 30 days by that xxx

  • What is the actual cost of access card for Sydney cbd branch after $9 discount? Is it non-refundable? Thanks.

    • -1

Each branch differs in price so this wasn't specified in the LivingSocial campaign but the 6 eastern suburbs are providing the bonus $9 discount

Individual locations + contacts can be found here:
      http://www.snapfitness.com.au/find-a-club/browse/NSW

Sydney CBD contact number is: 0481 146 297

The 24hr access card is non refundable

      thank you

      • So it's somewhere between $10 and $200 depending on how much of a target I seem like? Liked this deal as I could try it a gym without putting up with the annoying hard sell (until I was ready for it) but looks like that's all this bait is for, since the staffed hours aren't too useful…

        • +1

It's not hard to actually call and ask yourself how much it would be to upgrade to the 24hr access card since each gym differs (different franchisees)

You still need to pass the original voucher to someone at the gym to register/activate your 30days, hence staffed hours

The Access cards should only be around $30-$40 but that's only if you choose to upgrade to it, it is still a 30 days no obligation access campaign for gym membership

You just need someone to key you in during staffed hours if you don't have the access key, that's all

  • The Snap fitness operators in my area are arseholes who have put up their ugly signs on fences and spray paint their details on the footpaths. I would personally avoid them on principle.

    • Report them to your council?

      • Already have. The graffiti disappeared for a while but it's come back recently; there's less of it than before.

  • +1

Just knock on the door ask our fellow ozb to open the door outside staffed hours….. we help each other as family

  • When did the pyrmont branch open? It's about a 2km walk away from my house. Thinking of joining but my ankle is hurt.

  • +1

oh, my god, i need one !

  • My feedback for sydney cbd branch.
Only 12 lockable lockers are not enough. What if customers loose their stuffs? The gym will responsible?
