My wife wants to download videos related to her sewing online class, they are not You Tube videos. Has anyone any idea of a program that will download any format video.

    Try Firefox + Addon 'Video DownloadHelper'.

    Also works on YouTube.

    "acquire" a copy of replay media centre. the only website it hasn't worked for is ch9 "catchup" because of silverlight protection

    Firefox plugin "Flashgot"

      Flashgot is great, gets updates pretty often and if the video is available in several formats, flashgot allows you to choose which format you want to download.
