HELP!! Sydney Just lost an Olympus e-pl1 with pancake lens.

Hey Ozbargainers,

I've recently lost my DSLR camera in the city. It's an Olympus E-PL1, pretty old thing with black/champagne colour. Had a pancake lens that could only focus and the camera itself was in a black synthetic pouch.

I lost it in the city on Saturday night, around Sydney World Square. It only had around 30 pictures of my girlfriend and city shots. This is a picture of it with extendable lens, but just imagine the lens to be about half the size.

Please share this out with your friends. If everyone could just share out in 5 sequences, I'm sure it would reach out to Central.

Alas, if anyone sees it in person or online, by any chance, please let me know.
Perhaps, even on sale…

    When a lens can "only focus" it's called a prime lens.

    Have u checked with World Square? Ring up the city police, maybe a honest person might drop it there. Hope your girlfriend is not too good looking… Possible stalker in the future… Hope u get it back.

    I'm pretty gutted. The camera was one of my prized possessions.

    My girlfriend had called World Square, but no luck.

    If anyone knows someone selling an Olympus Pen, or Micro 4/3 cameras let me know. Thank goodness I still have my other lens….
    :( but I lost my beautiful prime lens.

    check gumtree and ebay periodically. You might be able to recognize if it is your camera

      also, complete a police report for stolen items. If they turn up at places like cashconverters, you can still claim them back as they aren't allowed to sell stolen items

        Thanks, that's some really good advice. Unfortunately I don't have any real tags of my name on it. I think the camera is as good as gone.
