Hi, I am very tall man and require a suit for a friends wedding, as I have long arms, I am unable to find suits that fit me properly. Does anyone know where I can buy a suit that will fit me? or a shop that makes custom tailored suits. I don't want to spend anymore than $450 dollars,

and also how was the end product? I have heard that with tailor made suits, the material sometimes tends to like get weird and doest stay straight. Any thoughts on this?
Took about 4 weeks to arrive. End product is really good although I've been meaning to get the pants lengthened a little. The material quality is great and haven't had any problems with it staying straight.

Can you specify your height?
6ft 5" or 196cm.
You can try Harrolds on Collins. They also do tailoring, or you can buy a suit and then get it altered in the city
I will give them a call, but the sleeves are way to short and even with minor altering it wont work. Thanks though
Harrolds will be out of your price range to be honest. You can try a shop next to Myer CBD, next to the alley way. They cater exclusively for big and tall men. Not sure if they are still operating though

if you wont need to use the suit in the next few years, rent, as they will make all the adjustments
no point getting a tailor made suit for a night, not use it and get fat! or thin
You are right but even renting and tailoring wont solve me problem of extra long hands. Thanks though
places you rent will fix lengths so you get a perfect fit
they will have suits for long arms, fat bodies, long legs etc
all i can think of is Kelly Country, tailor-made suites from Erskineville (Alexandria).

Custom made suit, 120S' cashmere wool, plus silk tie, plus cotton shirt for $480. They advertise it as a student deal but everyone can get it and there is no student id check. Full time OzBargain student is fine. :)
When is the wedding? The tailor is coming to Melbourne at the start of September to take measurements but they then make the suit in Hong Kong so the whole process can take a few weeks/month.
