Electric Bicycle import questions plz help

Guys can some one help me.

If i want to buy an e bike which comes with a compliance of the euro law and is completly legal in Australia.

Do i need any type of import license to buy from china seller on alibaba.com.

A total price for bike i like is around $900 USD i guess it will be less than $1000 so i wont need to pay customes but my question is, is it just as simple as buying any other product?

$900 includes TNT door to Door delivery

    I believe you will be fine with the purchase. Please make sure the bike meets local cycle standards, or you could attract the attention of the cops. Last I looked in NSW this was power under 200w, and with other requirements. You might double check the GST limit with TNT too. Some couriers collect GST on behalf of the gov at lower than the $1000 limit that customs applies to Auspost.

      Hi, thank you for reply.

      I checked on RTA site they now allow 250W with out Throttle.

      I am still wondering, can i buy just buy this bike that's worth $350 USD and $450 shipping.
      What other charges am i looking at?

      any import tax, stamp duty or what ever else Aus government wants to hit me with?
