pretty sure Chemist Warehouse wouldn't sell fakes
Not so sure.
When Shavershop had a sale a while ago people commented that the brushes were fakes. Can't trust anyone any more…If an Australian business is selling fakes they should be reported, they would be in a world of legal pain.
And so people did:

Probably wait till shaver shop having a sale again like last month or two months ago or visit their store if still happening.
I bought 7+1 pack for $24.95
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/147972Costco currently selling a 10 pack for $19.49 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/155070), which make them a touch under $2 each.
You do need a Costco membership though…The 10 pack I got from costco is made in Germany and it comes with 8 x Precision heads
and 2 x Floss Action heads which are $16.99 at shaver shop on their own.
Yeah I saw that, was going to comment that here, but you beat me to it :) There's no Costco in Adelaide (yet)
can these be used for Oral B 5000 ?
Yeah looks like it: http://www.oralb.com.au/products/precisionclean/
I've got an idea for a Mythbusters episode: testing the outrageously expensive Oral B heads, with their handy warning built in "replace me now with another outrageously expensive Oral B head- you've got almost a months use out of me, against an elcheapo ebay brushhead.
You could rig up their dummy with teeth then check for plaque levels.
Pillows have expiry dates too these days. Perishable goods.
Do these pillows start flashing a warning to replace like my Oral B toothbrush does if I put Floss Action heads in it?
I guess I should be happy that Oral B haven't figured out a way, HP printer style, to make the toothbrush stop working.
I dunno, I don't think $3.75 per head is outrageous. They last me at least 3 months.
That said, I would like to see a proper scientific comparison with cheapo heads too :)Floss Action have come down a bit since last I looked- $17 for a 2 pack at Woolies. far more than I'll pay but heading in the right direction.
It is not just the plaque levels. Here is a comment from from this deal:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/147972"The quality is a lot worse (the bristles are softer and the head often wobbles which makes it feel like it was just drop off) and they wear out about 2~3 times quicker"
I know a lot of the comments say that- wear out and wobble- but that is not my experience. The cheapies I have bought have never wobbled and they last just as long as the Floss Action do. Well maybe the Floss Action last for years but it's impossible for me to say- they give the replace warning after about a month. I used to use them for a few weeks after the warning but no longer than I use the cheapies.
planned obsolescence
Picked some of these up. Appear to be German imports. Work fine.
Here we go again, does anyone know if these are original or fake?
