    I don't understand Cold Brew coffee. People argue over the temp that water should be for a brew and then think soaking grinds in cold water for a long time makes a good drink.
    Is it like drinking a cold espresso or how do you drink it?
    Never tried it but I am wondering what the advantage or why people like it? Not bagging anything, just asking a question.

      It is exceptionally good for making ice coffee. When you brew the coffee for 12-18 hours in cold water it doesn't create the same chemical reaction as a hot extraction and results in about 65% less acidity.

      We roast a nice single origin lightly so that the flavour profiles of the bean are really shining and then after the 18 hour of cold brewing we combine with raw sugar and milk and bottle in glass beer bottles.

      Result : a very smooth ice coffee with great flavour profiles from the single origin coffee

      I think if you try one you'll be shocked at how good it is!

    Yeah cold drip is great!

    Also i'm not sure but can you confirm that filtered coffee (ie aeropress) makes better long blacks? Especially for blends with particular flavours.

    I rarely have milk in my coffee due to lactose (or something) intolerance only for heated milk. Tested multiple beans with espresso and using the aeropress. I find the subtle bean flavors are more pronounced filtered than espresso. It also has a clean smooth taste compared to espresso, even once lengthened.

    I ordered this deal and the beans are great but I didn't get the cold brew included despite being a Mannabeans regular. Unfortunate because I was looking forward to trying it!

      Sorry but I believe you may have misread the deal. Cold brew was not supposed to be included as it is a fresh milk drink and requires refridgeration. We only offered a free bottle if you come in to our roastery/cafe. I can see you're in Brisbane. Happy to honour offer if you wish to come in and grab one! :-)
