Hope there's a new cafe or restaurant opening somewhere nearby on the same day, giving out free burgers or noodles, so you both score a free lunch as well! ;)
We have the Melbourne "Entertainment Book" MamaJ, but we almost never have a good reason to go into the city… so we'll be having a look through that and picking somewhere reasonably close to the venue that we 'like the sound of', for a late lunch after the gig… :) Freakin' awesome this whole thing really. We love you tones.
being sold out is inevitable, I just hope every ticket is put to use.
Awesome OP, thanks a million! My wife has never seen any opera, so 1 hour and a bit-of-variety rather than a long convoluted saga will be absolutely perfect… and it just happens to be on the ONE day of the week we both have off! YAY! :) VERY happy with this one, it may end up being the best freebie of the year for me :) I wish I could give you two 'plusses' (or are they 'pozzes'?).
You might see me there. I'll be the dude wearing those free thongs we all got, with a belt of emergency "eneloops" strapped on, a cree-torch on my head, and an (ironically) unnecessarily expensive pair of headphones slung 'casually' around my neck. But no "DNA T-Shirt"; THAT sucker never arrived…
