WiFi Printer

Hi,

I am looking for a new printer to replace my 9 year old Canon MP540. Here are a few requirements:

WiFi enabled printing
Individual ink tanks
Must take generic ink cartridges or those refill systems
Relatively fast printing
Scan
Copy

Something like this ticks all my boxes http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/canon-pixma-m…

Inks - PG640, CL641, PG640XL, CL641, PG640XXL

Thanks, Sam.

    • You won't find compatible inks as the print heads are on the cartridge. You will need to refill the cartridge which is a pain. I personally own this printer and love it however now only use it as a wifi scanner since the ink ran out.

  • I bought the canon MG7160 and I'm very happy with it

The generic sets of ink can be bought off of ebay for about $24.00 (6 individual carts)

I am even looking at a CISS system to save even more money (well I am a Ozbargainer)

    • Found that one at The Good Guys for $156. Officeworks has it for more, but red, not back, so won't price beat. Think I might grab it unless someone else can recommend something of similar sleep for around $1000

  • Any updates on this query?

I am also looking for something similar for a fathers day present to myself.
