Hi guys
Just needed some opinions for those who know prices/what's out there better. Went through the airports today on my first travel trip and realised having a one compartment laptop bag works well going to the gfs but is a pain when asked to scan /xray your laptop seperately from the bag( don't get why), as my charger, mouse etc are always on top.
So I thought about my recent browsing of an asus shopping email, where some asus bags were on sale - measly 10% off but i like that they look professional, and functional - seperate compartments for the charger, mouse. I might consider getting a spare battery. Plus if i can fit in a newspaper, or note pad, stationery that's a plus but nota must. The whole gimmicky phone holders and stuff isn't that necessary. but some compartments for cables, while minamlising how baggy the bag is (e.g. not bloated, designed to stash away well) is what i'm after. Unfortunately the asus ones seem pricey - $50-89 roughly, i'm used to sub $30 bags but I'm wondering if i'm a) too cheap or b) too minamlist bags. or if these bags are just overpriced being asus?
If so can anyone recommend a bag I can get easily online, or in store in Perth that will fit my laptop, and look as good as the asus ones linked below (functionality wise too).

The asus bags (picked my favourites but technically some others there).
I think I would prefer a sling on bag that can be also carried handle wise. Backpacks are cool but i feel unsafe with them behind me (thinking travels where backpacks get robber unknowingly from behind).

Recommendations or feedback would be great(esp if anyones used the asus bags). Particularly interested in your pricing experience - are these bags fair dinkum price?
