Probably another amazing Kogan branded items that suppose to have all the best part available for a crazy low price that operates like arse
Perhaps making a comeback as a MVNO?
Yes this. Mnvo with voda network.
they're going to offer another $5 mystery gift?
So just talking about the Agora… Thought it was already out?
advertised Agora mobile smart phone for $229 …
not sure if it better than $79 Huawei G526 though.Kogan Agora 700MHz Telstra LTE ready smartphone for $229. Not sure what to think.
Kogan should have been comparing his Agora phone to similar Chinese Yam-Cha phones, not to iPhone 5 or Galaxy S5
It was announced only a few days ago that Telstra and Optus had gained early commercial approval for their 700MHz 4G services, which are already up and running in Perth and Darwin, along with a few rural regionals in other states.
Just a handful of flagship phones have offered 700MHz support up until now. The Agora will certainly be a cheaper option for people who want it - before it becomes standard on even cheaper phones…
This Kogan/Today Show 'announcement' is, however, just one more less-than-subtle Today/ACA etc. commercial tie-up masquerading as news/vital comsumer information.
interesting - thought it would have been this:
http://www.smh.com.au/business/retail/expanding-kogan-eyes-s…I also thought that it would be his expansion plans, but stay-tuned…
That may get an airing tonight on Nine's 'A Kogan Affair'.
A Kogan email just arrived and shows the back of the new phone. Made 'by BENQ'!
After the debacle that was BenQ's buyout of the Siemens mobile-phone division about a decade ago (and the disastrously lousy-selling co-branded phones that resulted), BenQ phones make a 'triumphant' return to the Australian market, courtesy of one Ruslan Kogan…
In his product-sourcing efforts, he is full of surprises. I'll give him that.
Well the marketing team has done its job pretty well then
