Need a security key cut/duplicated. Bunnings, Basters and normal locksmiths can't (Syd)

None of the normal places have a machine that can cut it

It is an abloy key

Please post or pm me if you know someone who can copy one for me

We bought our place and this was already fitted, we have 2 but we need a spare to give to my parents in case of lost/locked out. We don't have a habit of grabbing both sets if we are out together as we just take the keys for whatever car we take. Its a unit so back or side door spares isn't an option

This is not a normal key that any locksmith can cut, as far as I know it required a special blank and a different machine then whats norm

    Use the website, punch in your postcode and find an Abloy dealer with the specialized machine.

    Be aware -depending on the type of key they will not cut it. Security keys get registered and are only cut for the registrant.

      This is our problem, we didn't initially buy the lock, it was already fitted to our front door when we bought the place

    If is's an apartment, check with the building manager.
    If it's a normal house/townhouse, contact abloy,tell them the system number (numbers on your key) and they will let you know which locksmith can duplicate it.

    You will need to provide evidence of ownership. E.g. sales contract, or city council rate notice. Cost about 20 bucks.
