Thanks very much - The UGGs are just women's sizes I'm afraid. We don't currently carry mens slippers but do have lots of loafers which are our most popular slip on casual shoe. RIP by Windsor Smith is a soft canvas loafer and has been reduced to $48. It's not really what you were after though!

Oh no :( Keen are another brand we carry and we have a blue/grey hiking shoe for $98 in the mens styles if that is any better for you. Also the 'Finlay' by Keen is all black and made of water resistant leather at $98 (down from $190 so also a really good buy). Hope that helps!

looks like they are out of mens size 8AUS - a shame as I would have bought them for sure.
Wish we had more to sell! These are selling quite quickly now so quite a few sizes could actually sell out soon. We do have quite a bit of stock across the board - but size 8-10 are the most popular sizes so they will disappear first.
Having said that, we often have sales on all styles and restock all the time so feel free to sign up to our mailing list or check back in a while and we will no doubt have more discounted footwear including waterproof hiking shoes.

All our New Balance Minimus shoes are discounted at the moment - we will discount further to clear them but usually by that time most colours are in broken sizes - for example our best deal in Minimus right now is the WX20PP3 Purple Pink but we only have select sizes left in that colour. I have the 1521 in 4E and they are a great shoe. A bit too stiff for trail running but as low cut hiking shoes excellent. Really great price for AUD (even cheaper than the states). Too bad no 4E :(
Do these run true to NB running shoe sizes? A few comments on amazon suggest getting 1 size larger for best fit so I am unsure what size to get.
We include fitting tips and special advice in the descriptions area if we think shoe sizing is a bit out - however on these shoes customer feedback has been positive and our customers inform us they run true to size.
On each product page (if you scroll down) you can see customer feedback for that particular shoe - a customer has reported these shoes run true to size in their comments also, which is helpful.
Many more say the opposite (that the shoes are small/tight) on Amazon, even some of those who gave them 4 stars. Pretty simple to test unless of course there are no people in your shop with feet.
Are these waterproof ie. rainproof, or genuinely waterproof? My friend's hiking shoes (kathmandu, I thikn) you can basically by ankle deep in water and his feet don't get wet

Gore-Tex is a waterproof material (not just rainproof or splash proof) but obviously being a shoe as opposed to a boot you will not have as much foot coverage in deeper puddles of water which can splash up over the shoe.
However for running and hiking in wet terrain I would say these shoes are a really great option offering great protection, stability, traction and flexibility and they would possibly feel less restrictive than a heavy duty hiking boot.

These are very waterproof and I have to wade through wet mud and badly irrigated fields every month. They are ankle cut shoes so any decent depth of water you might get water in via the top. Gaiters help from water coming through pants

How does the Gore Tex (Men) shoes on sale here hold up in snow?
I'm thinking about possibly taking them to the slopes.
They look similar to the gore-tex patagonia winter hiking shoes i have. They should be fine in the snow, providing the snow is hard-packed (but not icy) or less than a few centimeters deep.
Anything else and you'll need boots possibly with spikes.
too ugly, but the price is ok.

yep this is a decent site - i was looking for Docs on this site coincidentally just yesterday and they were priced well also (just not all sizes…) + free shipping - the NB hikers are a good price
Was very interested but just had a look at some of the Amazon comments - quite a few comments about the tight toe box and "inaccurate" sizing (too small) for the MO1521 so caveat emptor as far as sizing and fit on this model goes.
Given the Amazon reviews I checked the store policy regarding returns based on inaccurate sizing. I'm not going to buy from these guys, and suggest you read their policy before you consider doing so.

The 2 pairs of NewBalance Gore-tex Hiking Sports Shoes fitted just right, look great and are very functional.
I will be in New Zealand walking the Milford Sound trek in early September and I will give the shoes a good workout.
I did notice on the Ozbargain site a minor amount of feedback about size - I usually take a US12 in Nike sport shoes - and I'm glad that I ignored the hype about size (particularly on Amazon forums) - because the MO1521GT's fit perfectly.

I ordered these on Thursday evening and received them on Monday, which I was pretty happy about. Unfortunately, they have a tight toe box as indicated by other reviewers, and I went half a size up!
Would love to keep them were it not for the sizing problem, as I am pretty impressed with the quality of the shoe.
