any cheap flights from sydney.. only requirement is from Syd to San Fran or LAX and I can get to san diego myself

I have trouble finding anything as most airlines cant let me book 1 year from now. seeing if anyone know anything out there
July is peak (summer) for USA travel. If you find something for $1400 or less it's a decent price…we flew Virgin Australia SYD to LAX for $1200 return this year, which is a very good price, but that was in March, so kind of shoulder season.
I'd also suggest checking expedia.com for flight prices and comparing to what you can get on the airlines website in Australia. We saved $200 each by purchasing through expedia.com (USA site). It's in US dollars but with 28 degrees and a good exchange rate it worked out at just under $1200 Australian Dollars.
But as has already been said, it's a bit too early to find prices for July next year. Keep checking, in a few months you should be able to see more prices.
Also isnt it really hard to get tickets and accommodation for comic con?
the key to comic con is planning and alot of it…
i found a place that lets me book a room )100m from the convention centre) for the whole month of July and i can cancel without paying a fine
