What's with the Dick Smith labels and images on DJs?
David Jones no longer have their own eletronics department. Around 1 yr ago they switched over to using Dick Smith for their electronics.
Basically Electornics Department has become the same as any other department, a store or brand can come rent out the space and sell their stuff.
That's fine, but all the actual titles/hyperlinks say dick smith instead of a description of the object….

Anyone know if this is definitely the 2nd gen paperwhite and why they list advertisements as an feature? lol (I assume that this is like the other aussie models and don't have the ads).

I called up one of the stores, they said it was old stock and they're waiting for new stock (i.e. new generation). But that store didn't have stock anyway, so not sure if other stores have a different story.
