It was a dark and stormy night.
Weary Tom staggered downstairs after an epic struggle with 2.5 year old Lisa at her bedtime. Muttering expletives under his breath, he swung the fridge door open for an ice cold beer. Nothing quite like an ice cold beer on a dark and stormy night.
Tom clutched his precious cargo as he dragged his feet through the darkened shadows of the living room. Tom screamed in pain as he tripped over a Lego minefield cleverly constructed by his arch nemesis, Lisa. His scream was punctuated by a crack of lightning that flashed outside the shuttered window. And in the rumble of thunder that followed, Tom swore he could hear Lisa's maniacal laughter. ..
You, too, can share Tom's pain by purchasing this fun Lego Duplo XXL box with 200 pieces. $34 at Target Camberwell (I saw about 8) and save a hefty $55. It is normally $89 and is on sale in the Target Toy catalogue for $69 so it must have been further reduced. Perhaps it is at all stores.
Anyway, being a fairly avid buyer of Lego, I thought this to be worthy enough to try my hand at posting for the first time.
Thanks for this one mate. I've got lots of friends with kids around this age.
Birthday present - solved.
