A few weeks ago, COTD ran a deal whereby if you post something about COTD on a forum (there were others like post on facebook if you had a min 100 friends, etc) then COTD would send you a set of free Philips speakers.
All I did was post in an existing thread here on OzB. I think Scotty ended up deleting the thread after a few days.
Anyway, I just received the FREE speakers from COTD…which was definitely quite a shock!

i created a new topic, sent an email to the promo email adress on time and havent even got a reply back!
Well done CoTD! I haven't received mine yet. Either way, I am not fussed. It'll be a nice suprise if it turns up :)

Just had a listen of the speakers and man, I can see why they were free.
I'll check with my wife to see if she wants them for her iphone, but if she doesn't, it's onto ebay they go!
But thanks to QQQ and COTD! Hopefully the slightly unorthodox advertising worked out well. :D
EDIT: They actually sound ok from an iPhone. They sound rubbish coming from a Bold but I guess a Bold isn't the best media player around. :)

Also got my speakers today. Mine work fine. I didn't hear anything from them either so I was quite suprised to see them in the mail today. Big thanks to CotD from me also.
