Need Help about Birthday Gift for Wife

Need some help, dear OzBargainers. We are in Melbourne.

I am looking for a gift for my wife. Budget 300 AUD max.

Always wanted to surprise her on her birthday, have been successful in doing so, thus far. For this year I was thinking about a hot air balloon ride, I know she would love it. But all places I looked required more than 500 AUD for 2 of us. If you know a place where I can do it for 300, I will remain grateful.

Any other suggestion is welcomed too. She is a bit adventurous one (me too). She is not very fond of clothing, cosmetics, or ornaments.

    Bring her to see Les Miserables playing at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne. It will be a very memorable experience for her. The cast is fabulous. And you should be able to get A-reserve tickets for both of you, with change left over from $300. Tuesday to Thursday tickets are a bit cheaper than Friday to Sunday tickets.

      From the change, you can bring her to some pre-theatre dinner. Which would be a great night out. If Les Mis is not so much to your liking, consider Wicked or The King and I. They are all good!
