Hi,I bought 2 weeks ago few items from David Jones online and qualified for the spend $200 and get $50 cashback on my partners amex card since mine (supplementary) does not qualify. My total spend was $242. Last week I returned one item (wrong size) and it was refunded under my card ($37). I want to return another item but I am afraid the cashback would be reversed and hence end up paying more.
I was credited the $50 cashback last week
Since the offer is per cardholder not account, if I do the return under a supplemantry card do you think my cashback will stay or be reversed?

Ask for the refund as a giftcard.
Good idea…might be the safest option
I got a $190 giftcard after a claimimg a price guarantee from one of the Ebay 20% off deals. :-)
Looking through the T&Cs, it seems to be the same as one of their other cash back promos that I took up - it is not $200 in one transaction but $200 over the period. I did not spend it all at once but when I reached the threshold amount, I received the cash back (I did not take up the DJs offer so I do not know). Perhaps you can go and buy something else at their online store to keep you above the $200 mark. You can try and game the system but you open yourself up to the risk of it being reversed.
