What would be the best debit card for travel? I need one to book flights, pay visa fees etc and that I can use overseas(primary Siberia/China for now). I'd like one that can be used easily and most everywhere but with minimal fees.
Thanks,

The Bankwest Zero Platinum is pretty much the same as the 28 degrees (No international transaction fees on purchases, zero annual fee). It does include insurance (subject to qualifying terms), although 28 degrees is also moving to platinum (so it might also have the insurance).
According to the letter I got it seems the only bonus in the move to platinum is the concierge service
Alright that looks like a good option. Before signing up is there any cons of using Citibank other than what is listed in that whirlpool wiki?
I see it is mainly fee free, but it is possible to overdraw on your card and get interest? Any thing I should know?
Thanks,
@Macgyver: I'm not sure - I don't think that the Citibank fees are any more unusual than any other debit card I had. I would suggest read through the online product disclosure statement to find that out, or give them a call.
Thanks for the help mate
BoC have a dual RMB/AUD unionpay/debit card. They have a branch in Box Hill (not sure if the other Chinese banks in the city provide this)
