Dick Smith eBay Store PS4 NBA2K14 Bundle for $481.07 + postage $4.95

70

This is my first post, so apologies in advance if I did something wrong or confuses someone.

Last night I saw the advertising somewhere on the internet but when I clicked the ad, it links me to DSE website and said page could not be found. Tried all night and this morning, found this is available on their eBay store only and it seems it couldn't be seen under the gaming-console category.

Link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-PS4-NBA2K14-Bundle-/25153760…

I have been waiting for the price of this bundle to come down since I missed the previous deals. Not sure if this helps anyone. Thought I might as well share.

Thanks.

EDIT: DSE did it again….they increased the price….I have the confirmation for my purchase but haven't received the tax invoice from them yet…..see if they would honour the price.

  • Wait till Sunday

Wouldn't the price be raised up on Sunday ? For those suggesting to wait.

  • What happened with the last sale? Did they put up the prices on everything?

Dick Smith adjusts their prices every few days and during/leading up to the last sale it was no different. Some prices went up, while others came down.

PS4 price dropped 2 days before the sale and the lower price was still in place on Sunday.

Many here are only fixated on the prices which went up and we start hearing conspiracy theories on increasing prices, but the truth is that these prices change all the time. If a price drops it's a deal. When it goes back up, something dodgy is apparently going on. Gotta love OzBargain :D

      • You're right but you have to understand peoples frustration as the timing on prices going up came exactly before the event, which looked dodgy, but I think with people speaking up; DSE is one of the stores who have stepped up their game and we should expect these good prices to be ongoing Sunday. Here's hoping :)

I don't have to and quite frankly I don't. There are only 7 days in a week and when prices are adjusted 2-3 times each week that means there is a great likelihood that it will change in the 2 days leading to the event. It's almost guaranteed, whether it be a price increase or a price decrease.

I think in the last 20% off deal the PS4 ended up costing about $420 and some people still left negative votes because they didn't get to stack the 20% off with the midweek special of $479. Still came to being ~$60 cheaper, but apparently not a good deal :D

    • What incentive would they have to do this, seeing as eBay takes the hit, not DSE?

      • They make more money.

      • instead of the customer that gets the discount, dicksmith takes the discount by raising their prices.
Maybe they are trying to make up for the money lost during the last sale? lol..

  • Good find! Listed as $647.98 in their official online site http://www.dicksmith.com.au/playstation-4/sony-ps4-nba2k14-b…

    • 647$… That should be worth for a ps5…

Let's sticky this so we know if it is still the same price on Sunday.

    …. aaaand it's $647.98 now

They increased the price almost 200$… That is really a dick way to treat costumers :x

      • DSE website has Wolfenstein bundle for $548 & NBA bundle for $648. So obviously the game is $100 of awesomeness & worth half of the arbitrary price increase… :-p

        • +1

Hmm I wonder whether the Wolfenstein bundle will have a price increase soon now that it has been posted here.. ;p

  • I see that 1 unit was sold at that price and the price automatically went up! more likely the one who bough it will get cancelled!

  • out of stock?
