ADSL 2+ Connection in Orange NSW 2800

Good Day!

We need to setup a new ADSL 2+ connection for a property in Orange NSW 2800.
The house is quite new with 2 phone jacks (built in wall).
Phone has no dial tone.

Telstra website says the address is fine for home phone line.

So I was thinking to connect a basic phone line at $23.95 for $59 ($82.95).
Then when I get the phone number we can check if there is ADSL 2+ available here.

What is the cheapest way to get a new ADSL 2+ connection without a contract?

    I know Telstra does "not" allow other providers on their cheap $23.95 phone line package. I just need a phone number to check availability, then I will switch the phone line provider too.

    You should be able to get a naked DSL line installed as there are various 3rd party DSLAMs in Orange. I would investigate that before ordering Telstra services.
    Take a look at www.adsl2exchanges.com.au/ and Whirlpool, of course.

    Just keep in mind if I'm remembering this correctly, for Telstra to install a new ADSL connection is $299, that is only when the phone line was never active before.

    We are trying to find some options through EzyConnect.
    Telstra will call us on Monday to check our phone line.
    Every other company needs a working phone line number and it does not matter if we want Naked ADSL or not.

    Bad news!
    Telstra pointed out that there are no more ADSL ports on this street.
