Part of me wants this but the other part likes the ripped forearms I get from using my tiny little hand pump

You shouldn't play with it too much you'll go blind.

Little yet not ashamed to admit it. Good on you!

  • These pumps are excellent. We moved on from the hand held jobbies and what a difference!

Kmart has these for $15 and I have no problem getting to 100psi for my road bike.

    • Does it have a Presta fitting?

      • +1

        Yes, its in the description

        • +1

No I was asking regarding the K-Mart one - i.e. it doesn't appear too compared to this deal.

  • +3

    this price seems inflated

If it's more than $1 surcharge I would grab it off ebay as its $23 delivered on there.

Is 160psi a bit low in pressure?

Are you serious? 160psi would cause some major damage if there was alot of air behind it.

    • Road bikes are about 110 psi. As an indication 160 psi is ~11 times the pressure of the air at sea level.

Don't inflate your child's netball beyond 8-10 psi. I guessed 30 psi. I was wrong. The resulting explosion left me stunned and temporarily deaf. Wife very angry.

      • So you became temporarily deaf twice?

      • so what was your wife angry about?
