Steam Newbie Q: How to add games/enter keys?

Hi guys, I need a bit of advice on adding games to my STEAM "library"/ entering keys bought from "Bundle-Stars".

The instructions in their email say join steam, then log-in [done that], then:
"Once you've done this, simply choose the 'Add a game' option at the bottom left of the screen … (etc.)".

The thing is, there is no button labeled that at the bottom left of the screen, or anywhere else I can see on my STEAM homepage after logging in, or under any of the drop-down menus.

So how DO I add games/ where do I enter keys? I've posted a question to "STEAM" and received nothing back, same from "Bundle stars"… thought maybe I'll have better luck via OB!

    Try the drop-down menu labeled "games". then "activate a product on steam"

    If you have the key, open steam and then go to Games in the tool bar and the to "Activate a product in game"

    Thanks for your time/help guys, it's much appreciated (kinda funny how the OB-community provided very timely offers of help while the actual product provider still has not, days later! :)

    Anyways, it turns out my problem was that I didn't realise that to add games, I had to go beyond merely "logging-in" to my personal steam account via their normal webpage, and actually had to download/launch a "STEAM CLIENT". I reckon many poor noobs like me will be not realising this… the instructions state "download the STEAM client and log-in" etc., but many unsavvy noobs are probably thinking this just means "sign-up for a STEAM account and log-in to it".

    Anyways, problem sorted at last, and thanks for your time/and offers of help guys; much appreciated :)
