Need advice - Damaged TV received inside

Hello Friends,

I need expert advice from you guys.

I bought an LG TV 42LB5820 from Dick Smith Online on 3rd July which was delivered to me yesterday by Star Track delivery around 11:30 am on 15th July 2014. As I was already late for office waiting for the delivery guy, I could not test it then and there. Then came home late after logging 9 hours in office, so couldn't check last night as well.

Today, after coming from office, when I opened the TV, I found that the screen is damaged. I recorded a short video of the same:

Now, It was already 8pm, which is outside their office hours, so I have sent them an email mentioning all this. But I am quite worried that I didn't check it yesterday when the guy delivered, so would it be considered against me.

How are such cases handled? Should I report this to StarTrack as well as they delivered it.
