Drawing App/Software for Mac OS (Something like Visio) for flow charts.

Hi,
I have been using Microsoft suite to draw various flow charts and sequencing diagrams and experience has been horrible. I am sick of it. Can someone suggest a good application or software for Mac OS that I can use.
Something similar to Visio but for Mac platform.

    I find https://www.omnigroup.com/omnigraffle quite good, definitely worth a shot.

    I used to love Visio but now I do almost all my drawing in Powerpoint.

    A few hints for diagramming in Powerpoint:

    • Set a grid and snap to it - I use 2.5mm as the basis for my grid
    • Choose a set proportion for each box (eg 15 * 20)
    • Switch "snap to other objects" OFF
    • set up the page as A3 to give yourself plenty of room
    • Use the smart shapes and smart connectors
    • Use 2 levels of background and the slide itself
