Eneloop 800mAh AAA 4 Pack. $12.45 + Delivery @ DSE (AA 4pack for $14.33 + "XX" AAA also avail)

80

Home delivery only. Delivery charges usually $4.95 for up to $99 spend, free with orders above $499 (this has just changed, even though their webpage says in the Ts and Cs it's over $99). However, some (not all) have had success matching in-store.

Not the best price historically, but they've been pretty expensive lately and this is the cheapest for a 4 pack in a while.

You can file your complaints and reminisce about other expired deal below.

  • I'm new to eneloops - why are they so good? :)

    • -1

The bait has been set… You already got your first bite :)

    • +1

charge em, put on shelf, and know they will still have full charge when you go to use them whether it be next week or months down the track.

    • +2

Just grab some, and you will know why you need more :)

  • -6

This is a pretty average price. They're not even on sale.
    NO DEAL!

    • +2

I assume you've got a better price somewhere else. Can you please post it.

      • Does this count? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HR-4UTGB4BTM-Original-Sanyo-enelo… :-P

$15 delivered. Only cheaper though if you only want 1 pack that is. I'm sure there's cheaper out the as someone else mentioned they bought 2x4AAA's for $24 delivered.

Wasn't even looking for Eneloops, actually looking for a 9V charger but just stumbled over the Eneloops as I was flicking between that and Ozbargain.

        • It might, but you take the risk with ebay of fakes. seller looks OK from the feedback.

  • Thanks OP

  • So we meet again, eneloop

  • Wow, it's been a while since seeing this being sold:
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/17494/s/…

    • Saw that, some people will want those as they like to match their colours. didn't post because the price isn't great… yet ;)

      • the price isn't great

The price is better (per battery) than the deal posted in the OP.

        • very true. might be better if you want 8 of them.

          Will add

    • How do these differ from normal Eneloops? Or are they just normal 3rd gens?

  • What's the cheapest it has been when should you buy ?

    • +1

Roughly this price? ($12.99 according to price slice), but with/on a free delivery day?

    • +1

Look through this list to see past Eneloop deals: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/eneloop

The better deals were usually around $20 for 8 batteries, free delivery.

  • Does the $10 off every $100 coupon stack here?

  • +1

Best price in the past was 8 for $20, delivered (more commonly + $4.95 delivery).

Note that the 2-pack is also on sale, $7.10 but is 2nd gen:

Be aware that the 1,800 cycles models are 3rd gen, 1,500 cycles are 2nd gen. according to:

  • soooo hard to resist, but i WILL resist.

    • +1

My bet is you'll get a packet before the days end…

    • There's normally no impedance to purchase as long as you have the financial capacity, but similar deals to the current one come along with great frequency so, admittedly, it's appropriate to have some reluctance.

  • Usually what I have seen in the past is that when Dick Smith offers the Eneloop deal during the week and on Friday, they offer free postage.

    Would you agree ChickenTalon?

  • Still waiting on a deal for the smart charger with eneloops so I can combine postage. Seems the smart charger is out of stock at DSE.

  • I just bought two packs of 4 AAA from eBay yesterday for less than $26. I guess the benefit of paying slightly more for this is shorter delivery time but I'm not in the rush for them.

    • Could you send me the Ebay link please.

  • +1

careful everyone! DSE have just changed their free delivery qualification to $499

    • Which is simply a nonsense threshold, and hopefully a mistake.
If OfficeWorks can do it for $55 (in metro)….

    • Says $99 on the page linked in original post

Edit… nope its says $499 at top of the DSE page and $99 at bottom.. LOL

  • Can u just go in store to match?

    I remember someone did that.

  • +1

    I went with these deals:

2x 8 packs of the newer 2100 cycle 800mah AAA eneloops $56.28 shipped to Perth (my price at time on purchase)…
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JHKSMIG/ref=ox_sc_sfl_ti…

Hope that they work well with this charger (deal ended???):
