the site didn't work with my ACTUAL nespresso membership number, but i was able to enter in some random number and it accepted it.
Worked for me no problems - now to see if these capsules actually arrive in the mail.

Appears to be a targeted promotion… Didn't work for me but was okay with a colleague's membership number.

Mine was in junk folder and contained my membership number on the bottom.
Mine went through with just a random number. Wasn't even sure I got the number of digits right 8/

Hmm I used to be able to see my membership number when I logged in online but not anymore.
I suggest downloading the Nespresso app on your mobile and logging in there, then go to the Personal Information page and it will show your membership number there.
Edit: Found it on the website, when you login click on the My Personal Information tile.

Are they still doing that thing where you only get a membership number after placing an order? It said so in my registration email 2 years ago.
This offer makes me so happy their online and store channels are so disjointed. I have 2 membership numbers - I registered but had to get setup instore to get a card, then got another membership when I finally placed an online order.

They send you your membership number in the email. This worked perfect for me as I'd forgotten mine. :)

Agreed. I got the email offer but I quickly did the survey just in case somebody used my member number.
Don't know why Nespresso didn't just use the member address via the entered member number. That would stop the abuse.

I think it would be 6pcs. 6 sleeves would be exceptionally generous, something which Nestlé is not renowned for.
6 x $0.84 = $ 5.04 max cost for them (+shipping)

It most likely is as you say, as customers have to order in multiples of 50 capsules due to their silly packaging requirements, so there isn't much chance of them shipping 60 capsules.
I couldn't find my member number even after trying to get it sent to my email. Found it on an old receipt but it seems like a bad system that anyone can just enter a random number.

For those who are trying to make up a number, the membership # box outlines in red if the number doesn't work. Just keep trying until the box turns grey.
I think my made up number was 6 digits long.

It was a name mismatch against my account info. Fixed.
Mine was rejected because no invitation had been sent to me. My wife's was rejected because she is a new member.
What is Nespresso's objective here, I wonder? Possibilities:
(1) promote brand goodwill?
(2) have members taste-test a new range of product?
(3) piss-off members who are denied access to the offer, and alienate them against the brand?

Their system said ineligible number and did not progress onto the survey. At least the dismissal was quick BEFORE investing time into actually completing the survey.
I received the email a few days after the initial post. It came with my user ID which I had forgotten. Quick and easy survey. Now just to wait and see what samples I get. It does appear to be targeted but for those who are p!ssed with Nescafe because their ID doesn't work - either wait to see if you do get the email down the track OR such it up as one of life's little disappointments and move on. I am pretty sure Nescafe did not conspire to upset you over a few capsules.
